Shaun Duvet, Anything Goes demonstrate AG Virtual showcase tech with the help of DJ Fresh
In a live demonstration of the AG Virtual showcase, Duvet revealed the new technology as DJ Fresh was ‘beamed’ in from Johannesburg to the Cape Town location. The technology aims to tangibly resolve audience integration with remote presenters via platforms like Zoom and Google Meet. It also allows for dial-in guests from anywhere in the world via proprietary video links while simultaneously being broadcast to Facebook Live or any other streaming platform.
Because of the scaled integration, interaction can be as limited or open as required. It could be a small person-to-person event with public broadcast or a large-scale Q&A with a Zoom room of up to 1,000 people. “Thanks to our vision and experience, and with bleeding-edge technology at our fingertips, we can replicate live conferences, events, talk shows, music videos and perhaps even festivals and virtual nightclubs in a bespoke 3D environment,” explains Duvet.
“We want to offer this to all our clients and partners, and at the same time let our fans know that the future is now and it’s exciting. The only limit is your imagination.”
Making virtual events accessible
Most modern devices that have an internet connection should be able to access these virtual experiences, making events more accessible than ever. There is even the option to set your static avatar on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Team, etc., for a more customisable experience.
Says Duvet: “We've been through it all, and we've seen it all. Producing shows and events in every kind of space imaginable, from stadiums, farms, conference centres, warehouses, rooftops, hotels, boats and even private islands. We’re a well-oiled machine that understands what it takes to get events done in a modern world and today; I’d like to introduce you to the future with our AG Virtual showcase.”
Duvet reminds us that despite the events industry being one of the hardest hit by Covid-19, artists are still making music and brand partners still have messages to communicate, conferences to host, campaigns to run, and products to launch. Fans are also hungry and excited to engage in great content, now more than ever when they are locked in and focussed.
“Businesses need to evolve as consumers are adapting at a rapid pace. It’s all about evolution. We need to think about ways to pivot, hustle and move forward, and we believe that the AG Virtual Showcase will highlight the way.”
“There is no doubt that live shows will return, but what is certain is that virtual events will work hand-in-hand with live experiences, and this is only the start. The show never stops, it just evolves,” concludes Duvet.
