Spier Secret Festival line-up announced

The Spier Secret Festival will return to Spier on Friday, 30 October, 2015. It is a celebration of creative approaches to food and wine making, craftsmanship and collaboration. Small groups of delegates will rotate between workshops and talks to guarantee intimate skills sharing and quality time with the speakers, who include cheese-maker Luke Williams and Oxford experimental psychologist, Janice Wang.

The ticket, which costs R1100, includes brunch, a wine tasting with Spier's Cellar Master Frans Smit, a late lunch by PJ Vadas and a goodie bag with a bottle of wine.

Delegates will be the first to sample the brand new experience in Spier's historic Werf, which includes a boutique wine cellar, PJ Vadas's newly launched Hog House Café, and the weekly Spier Werf market, which is committed to sustainable practices.

On Saturday, 31 October, the brand new Spier Werf Market will launch. Fresh organic produce will be on sale, food stalls will offer a host of tasty treats and a wine bar and a gin bar will ensure you'll never go thirsty. There is plenty of entertainment for kids. Entry is free.
