Ad verification technology stops inappropriate placements
Tribal Fusion has developed a three-tier security system technology, called PageGuard, which ensures that that ads intended for mainstream sites won't appear against content that includes references to drugs, gambling, sex, nudity, offensive speech and violence.
The system uses proprietary 'contextualization' technology, whereby content is ranked as safe or unsafe. Ads are only served on pages marked as safe, ensuring a pre-approved, brand-safe advertising environment. The automated security system runs across all the digital marketing solutions company's campaigns.
David Barnard, sales manager, Tribal Fusion South Africa said, "Due to the increasing complex nature of online advertising, marketers are often unaware if their advertising message is running against inappropriate content and most publishers or ad networks do not have the capabilities to verify the problem in real-time.
"Online advertising is often seen as complex and lacking regulation and with the introduction of AdExchanges and demand side platforms, it is going to be more important than ever that advertisers and their agencies partner with safe and secure networks."
The company is part of the Exponential Group of online businesses. For more, go to www.tribalfusion.com.
