Teen mag just does it online

Apparel and footwear giant Nike has partnered with seventeen magazine on a digital campaign sees two seventeen readers blogging about their weekly fitness regime on www.seventeen.co.za, in the spirit of Nike's recently launched Just Do It Campaign.

Says 8 Ink Media's digital publisher Natalie Dixon, “We're thrilled Nike has partnered with us on this campaign; it shows that big brands understand the incredible value in digital media, its audience and how it will continue to grow in prominence”.

The seventeen website sees on average around 20 000 unique visitors a month, according to the Online Publishers Association (OPA).

Nike will also run a spot in September in the seventeen mobizine, which has 9000 unique subscribers.

Both digital components will be accompanied by in-book advertorials that complete the through-the-line campaign.
