Revlon SA goes to Euro RSCG SA

Hot on the heels of winning the Peermont Hotels, Casinos and Resorts account, Euro RSCG South Africa announced today, Wednesday, 10 August 2011, that Revlon South Africa is its latest key client.

This encompasses a number of areas of Revlon's business, including Revlon's High Perfume, Mitchum, ColorSilk, 24 Seven, Flex, Aquamarine and Cutex.

The pitch team consisted of Euro RSCG's director of account management Ursula McAlpine, strategic planning director Gerhard Sagat, writer Balekane Mokoditoa and art director Romy Lunz, as well as Kenneth Garvie from 4D Euro RSCG and Brad Jansen from Havas Sports & Entertainment.

"Depth of skill"

Commenting on the win, Euro RSCG's CEO Lynn Madeley says: "We were told that we were challenging without being aggressive, which really sums up the culture of Euro RSCG. It's a great win for us and it is a real demonstration of the depth of skill we have at senior level."

According to a press statement, Revlon was looking for an agency could that could buy into the corporation's culture of glamour, excitement and innovation, and would also able to become a long-term partner to the brands.

"It became evident that Euro RSCG clearly understood the personalities of our brands and would thus be in a favourable position to serve them with passion and creativity," explains Scott Maddock, managing executive, Revlon SA.
