Dina does it again

Communications Minister Dina Pule was in hot water just a while ago when it was learned that her lover had benefited from the ICT Indaba sponsorship. Now she appears to have done it again... It is alleged that she secretly offered a pal - Gugu Duda - the position of chief financial officer at the longest running circus in town (the SABC, in case you were wondering). However, it now appears that Duda does not have the experience to do the job. Brilliant.

On a happier note... if you're content, we're content here at Bizcommunity. We have been ahead of the curve for years in providing an unmatched vehicle for all of you to get your message out there.

Wisdom has it that there is no point in delivering a message if your target audience doesn't have a clue as to what that message is; it can also be risky using complex or ambiguous language to mislead the reader - whether accidentally or deliberately. The Consumer Protection Act (CPA) aims to ensure that marketing material, advertisements etc can be understood by the ordinary consumer - and that's why James Hurford presents some timely tips on how to write using plain language.

Chantel Botha shows you how to avoid "one-night stand" marketing campaigns and Wesley Lynch recounts how digital apps will restore love for comics.
