Gauteng - Waya waya!
The Gauteng Tourism Authority (GTA) has launched a new marketing plan for the province that "reflects a vibrant personality that exudes diversity and energy". Terry Tselane, CEO of GTA, says the brand comes from a focus on Africa. Some 25% of all international visitors to Gauteng come from Africa. The province's new slogan, "Gauteng - Waya Waya! [all the time]" was chosen to reflect this.
