The proliferation of industry databases

who drinks Windhoek lager

what type of people drink Windhoek Lager? How does Windhoek Lager compare to other beer brands e.g Castle Lager, is it some sort of cider ? Windhoek Lager television ads seem to be leaning more to white people and elite blacks. Pliz correct if i am wrong in my assessment coz i am just curious since we don't get the beverage here. 29 Jan 2007

Marketing terms cause confusion

I got presented a TV schedule by agency, with the abbreviation AR on it - being too proud to ask (one presumes you know everything), I never figured out what it is. Is there a glossary of marketing terms somewhere? 5 Dec 2006

Marketing in the industrial arena

I find myself in the manufacturing arena. The ads in our industry are shocking, the PR is mostly soppy press releases, the information on marketing in this segment is so limited. 13 Jul 2006

Reebok advertisement: ''I am what I am''

It is with great dismay that I watched the Reebok "I am what I am" advertisement on television a couple of evenings ago. What does the rapper 50 cents being shot have to do with the sportswear label? More concerning however, is what message is being sent to our youth who looks up to the rapper and listens to his music? 9 Aug 2005
