Standard Bank's new website not working
Am I the only one who has been battling with Standard Bank's new website? Nothing works. I haven't been able to pay accounts for a week. They tell me it's slow and I have to be patient but absolutely nothing happens. All one can get, are statements. Which leads me to my main gripe: what is the matter with companies that they have to fiddle with things that are working perfectly well? Are they being led down the garden path by their marketing companies? Why change things for the sake of changing out? I'd love to know how many complaints Standard Bank had about its old website compared to the dog's breakfast they have now.
It is so bad, it outweighs my previous gripe with them: they still haven't linked my credit card to BA Airmiles after cancelling their partnership with SA Voyager around the end of October. Apparently there's a "backlog". What did they think was going to happen? Surely they, of all people, must know how many customers they have linked to the scheme and prepared for the changeover.
I guess it's time to quest for yet another bank...
