MSN welcomes Maghreb
The new MSN Maghreb portal was launched at a press conference in Skhirat, Morocco, on Tuesday, 22 April 2008.
Aimed at providing the localised content in French for users in Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria (Maghreb region), the portal is a joint venture between Microsoft and LINKdotNET (managing operators of MSN Arabia and wholly owned subsidiary of Orascom). Users will be able to view fresh local and global news, entertainment and event updates; as well as have access to Windows Live services, such as Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Hotmail, and Windows Live Spaces.
