SABC clean up to start this month

NEWSWATCH: The long-expected clean up of the national broadcaster is expected to begin soon, reports Eye Witness News, which also reports that arts and culture minister Lulu Xingwana met a group of producers yesterday and said her department is determined to cure the ills within the film and TV industry. On the subject of the fees we pay to cellphone companies, ICASA appears to be aiming for an interconnection fee of 60c, but according to Business Report some analysts believe meeting the November 2009 deadline for cheaper interconnection fees between cellphone operators may be a tough call.
