Date announced for AMCSA 2012

The date for the seventh Aesthetic Medicine Congress of South Africa has been announced. The congress will take place from 31 May to 2 June 2012 at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria. The congress aims to provide scientific knowledge to speciality doctors as well as exposure to the industrial and pharmaceutical inventions of all companies involved in the fields of aesthetics and anti-aging medicine.

The congress includes a two-day program running in three auditoriums and a large exhibition area hosting companies with relevant pharmaceuticals and technologies in the fields of aesthetics and anti-aging medicine. For further training, there are also pre-congress workshops for both beginners and advanced physicians on specific topics. The pre-congress workshops take place on 31 May 2012.

The scientific program will cover a range of topics including: botulinum toxin techniques, dermal fillers, chemical peels, lasers and light-based therapies, mesotherapy, skin rejuvenation, skin imperfection therapies, and protocols, hair rejuvenation as well as obesity, slimming, cellulite, varicose vein treatments, anti-aging medicine and sexual aging sessions. The program is covered by highly-acclaimed experts from around the world and includes presentations as well as demonstrations.
