"One of our core business focuses is caring for mothers and babies and with this ethos in mind, we are committed to road safety. We have identified the Arrive Alive Campaign as an effective and credible medium to highlight our support and instil the importance of safe driving and road awareness," comments Issy Zimmerman, Redgwoods Executive.
The Arrive Alive logo will also be used on all Babies R Us, Baby & Company and Reggie's 'Baby On Board' signs. Designed to easily stick to the back windscreen of the car by means of a suction cup, the 'Baby on Board' signs can easily be removed for use in different vehicles and aim to deter tailgating and alert drivers and paramedics that there is a baby in the vehicle, in case of any traffic incidents.
Babies R Us' association with the Arrive Alive Campaign has been praised by Ntau Letebele, director of safety promotions at the Department of Transport: "The Government appreciates efforts taken by organisations, such as Babies R Us, as it promotes Public Private Partnership. The use of the Arrive Alive logo on Babies R Us products will help to communicate and ensure safer driving at all times on South African roads."
