Moschino x H&M collection hits SA stores in November
Cartoons, shiny metallics, over-the-top accessories and statement-making prints are what characterise the much anticipated Moschino x H&M collection.
The range is described as a celebration of diversity and friendship, and alongside the menswear and womenswear are pieces designed exclusively for dogs, such as a leopard-print padded jacket and a grey hoodie with the Moschino logo.
For the lookbook, Moschino's creative director Jeremy Scott gathered his family of friends to show the positivity, love and diversity at the heart of the collection.
“Whenever I design, I think about my friends. The Moschino [tv] H&M lookbook is like a party; celebrating the fun, the pop, the creativity and the energy of the people and the collection,” says the American designer who also runs a successful eponymous label.
The lookbook was shot and styled by Scott’s long-term collaborators, photographer Marcus Mam and stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele.
Modelling the high energy collection, with all of Moschino’s pop glamour, street attitude and humour are among others Aquaria, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10; Amiaya, twins and influencers Aya and Ami; Sakura Bready, Scott’s assistant at Moschino and Pablo Olea, Scott's’s best friend and head of global PR and communications of Moschino.
The Moschino x H&M collection will be available in the Sandton and V&A Waterfront stores on 8 November from 8am.
H&M has also just launched Moschino [tv] H&M giphy stickers on Instagram Stories, Snapchat and iMessenger for users to add to their own content as well as animated logos and emblems from the collection. There are also giphys of Scott himself spreading the love of the collection.
