Boity, Sissy Boy create unique capsule collection
The collection will consist of three individual capsules. The initial capsule will contain 16 pieces, with the following two containing 15 pieces each, being revealed over the period stretching September to December 2016.
“Partnering with Sissy Boy on a project such as this one is special to me. Our aim is for women to feel sexy when wearing the collection. The garments I chose for the initial capsule include jumpsuits, t-shirts and jackets and were specially designed to celebrate a woman’s curves and build her confidence, which is everything the Boity brand stands for,” says Thulo.
The partnership, which was born out of a mutual interest and respect, took off when Thulo voiced her desire to venture into the fashion industry in support of a brand that embraces femininity and encourages a ‘love yourself’ philosophy. This in turn will allow Sissy Boy to build an even bigger consumer audience, one that she has captured.
“The progression into collaborating with Boity was natural. We instantly clicked, as our vision for what we wanted to achieve aligned. She is young, beautiful and has a good eye for fashion, which is testament to her fame and social media popularity,” said Ronald Sassoon, founder of Sissy Boy.
The first capsule collection will be available from 29 September 2016 at all Sissy Boy stores nationwide, online at sissyboyjeans.com, as well as exclusively at selected Edgars’ branches. Boity x Sissy Boy pieces will range from R499 to R1,699.
