Loudfire unveils experiential-eventing trends at J&B Met 2007

Designer entertaining company Loudfire, chose the J&B Met 2007 as the locale for its annual client/supplier party, and what a party it turned out to be. Known as the quintessential gathering place for the fabulously fashionable, the Met provided a superb backdrop for Loudfire to unveil the latest trends in experiential eventing.

While Loudfire clients are accustomed to the creativity, originality and high standards that have placed the company at the top of both its game and their vendor lists, they were nevertheless quite blown away by Loudfire’s demonstration of where it is going in 2007. This revelation took place in the picnic site at the Met, beneath a glorious freestyle, Bedouin tent in Loudfire’s trademark vibrant orange. Here guests reclined on comfortable sofas and chatted around conversational cocktail tables, while sipping champagne and cocktails and nibbling on crayfish, sushi and other gastronomical delights.

Among the many innovations demonstrated by Loudfire, were new substrates and structural and architectural components that added a new dimension to and greatly enhanced the allure of the freestyle venue. These included huge, Romanesque columns and, in places, ‘walls’ clad in the same vibrantly coloured and richly textured fabric adorning the bar, all trimmed in glittering crystal baubles.

Comments Bruce van Halderen, CEO of Loudfire: “It was a great party and our clients and suppliers were unanimous, enthusiastic and generous in their praise for it. Importantly, it gave us a platform from which to give them a glimpse of where we’re going in 2007. Generally speaking the trends we will be unveiling this year, in the ‘mobile entertainment’ space, are largely focused on architectural sets and props and include massive innovations in structural elements, interiors and the introduction of new substrates to add tactile and visual depth to venue environments.”

Loudfire’s major competitive advantage lies in the mobility of its exclusive experiences. This ability to create an intimate venue in whichever location it or its clients can conceive of, has made the company’s offering an extremely attractive alternative to traditional party venues and resulted in the staging of parties on mountain tops, traffic circles, boats, beaches and beyond.
