Reputedly the first of its kind, the event will offer a range of products and services, including fertilizers and pesticides, agro-chemicals, farm management tools, machinery and equipment, floricultures and horticultures, irrigation systems, nutrients, seeds, storage equipment, tractors, veterinary equipment and animal care products, vineyard machinery, as well as processing equipment used in the dairy industry. Other products include packaging, food processing and frozen foods and products from the poultry and meat processing industries.
The expo will have a number of 'country pavilions', including China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Iran, Turkey, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and Korea. Companies from France, Switzerland, Netherlands, the United Kingdom and elsewhere will look to do business at the event.
Major organised-business stakeholders, including the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) and the KZN Department of Agriculture, have endorsed the event. For more information go to www.agritechsouthafrica.com.
