Rajah offers free Wonderbag with spice purchases
With household budgets becoming more and more difficult to control because of spiralling fuel and food costs, consumers are able to make a difference to costs generated in their own kitchen by opting to cook with a Wonderbag.
A heat retention cooker, it reduces cooking fuel consumption by nearly half, as well as saving on CO2 emissions, electricity and paraffin. This translates to up to R200 per month on electricity and paraffin savings.
Spokesperson for Unilever, Ethne Whitley says, "Consumers are being hit from all directions with additional expenses to the family budget but this project is one way to reduce household costs. Using it 2-3 times per week will save consumers up to 50% on their electricity bill each month. It's like having a slow cooker without having to plug it in to electricity."
This cooking method has been making waves locally and internationally and makes cooking easier, safer and more convenient. During the next few months, Unilever is promoting the benefits of it, helping consumers to put hearty, nutritious meals on the table at less cost to the family budget and less cost to the environment too.
Consumers will receive a free Wonderbag valued at R99.99 with the purchase of three 200g packets of Rajah products until the end of May.
