    Nampak chairman to step down in 2010

    Packaging group Nampak on Wednesday, 7 October 2009, announced that its non-executive chairman, Trevor Evans, had decided to step down as chairman and director of the company in 2010.

    Evans has served as executive chairman from 2001 to 2003 and as non-executive chairman since 2003.

    Nampak said it would make a further announcement in due course regarding the date on which Evans would step down and the appointment of a new chairman.
