"There is an increasingly informed and activist consumer base demanding safer products and brands that contribute to the wellbeing of the communities they draw resources from. This policy is a response to this demand," explains Bradley Du Chenne, spokesperson for the company.
"Two percent of a policyholders' monthly insurance premium will be paid into a Green Trust, which will then donate funds to various eco-charities and organisations.
