"It was a bit dark so I gave it a facelift. It didn't feel like home," was why owner Claudia van Schalkwyk opted for the renovations. The Urban Beauty team has been keeping their clients happy operating out of one of the rooms at the Queen Victoria Hotel, but they are eager to get back to their home.
Van Schalkwyk's plans for the relaunch mirrors the manner in which she runs her spa - intimately and attentively. With multiple launches of a select group of people, she feels she and her team can better showcase the ethos behind their treatments, namely touch therapy.
