There is nothing nice about winter in Johannesburg. Everything is dry and brown and we commute in darkness each day. The only upside to the cold winter months is that we can shamelessly induldge in creamy, frothy, hot-chocolatey drinks like Hug-in-a-Mug!
Hug-in-a-Mug has graced South African shelves for a while now, but every so often they shake up the fixture by launching a new flavour that we just can’t get enough of. Their latest offering – Choc-Mint Cappuccino – delivers on every level.
In line with the existing quircky, whimsical and playful visual language, the Just Design Jhb team delved deep into the memory archives to create a world of chocolate and mint. Shards of emerald jewels rolling in chocolate cigar-like shavings transport the consumer into a scene reminiscent of the Emerald City in the Wizard of Oz and the result is something straight out of a children’s book.
The Choc-Mint Cappuccino sits proud alongside the other variants and looks set to be a winter staple this year. The diet can resume in spring!
