Group slams video games for violence and sexism
Children Now, a group that monitors the quality of news and entertainment media for children, has released a report that says about 4 out of 5 games for ages 6 and up, contain violence, and nearly all games include white males. The group says women are usually portrayed as bystanders or victims, and few games had features that appeal to girls, such as controllable female characters.
