Magical revitalization for Bakers Biscuits

Bakers Biscuits, the sweet biscuit division of National Brands Ltd, has undergone a refreshing revitalisation to remind consumers that 'Only the Bakersman Can!' and to ensure that Bakers remain the best-selling biscuit range.

A subtle and refreshing upgrade of the Bakers brand packs of Original Blue Label Marie, Tennis, Eet-Sum-Mor and Red Label Fruit Creams has taken place and the new packaging will have extra emphasis on 'The Original'. Packs also feature the new Bakers logo with a larger, cheerful Bakersman.

The new Tennis and Blue Label packs also offer new recipe ideas, while a new television campaign featuring the famous Bakersman has been launched. The revitalisation campaign also features exciting on-pack consumer promotions.

Bakers also recently launched the unique Bakers Wafizz range of crispy wafers in fizzy drink flavours of Cream Soda, Fizzy Cola, Bubblegum and Fizzy Grape.

According to Cheryl Stiles, Bakers Biscuits Marketing Manager, "Bakers Biscuits have always been a South African icon of great tasting, quality biscuits and we hope by giving an old favourite a new look and adding an exciting brand extension we will continue to instill the notion of the magic of the Bakersman and take Bakers into the next millennium."
