Energiser release new rechargeable battery brands
Furthering its brand communication platform of 'That's Positivenergy', Energizer has upgraded its recharge range with a line of long-lasting, rechargeable batteries and chargers in new packaging for power-demand products.
The foundation of this new platform combines performance plus responsibility and demonstrates its commitment to responsible power and serving the community.
Three major segments, two products
This core range has been designed to meet specific needs of the three major market segments:
- "Cool Dad" - this offers great value for money and a battery that can be recharged hundreds of times - especially to keep the kids' toys on the go.
- "In a Hurry" - this is for users always on the move, looking for a quick-charge battery that combines convenience and long life with speed and the battery will hold the charge because they don't have time to recharge more than two or three times a month.
- "Techie" - this is for users interested in the latest technology, demanding knowledge of specific features and performance details, have all their hi-tech gadgets powered at all times and not waste time recharging more than once a month.
The two types of product segments in the brand's rechargeable battery range to meet the characteristics described are all pre-charged and ready to use, straight out of the package. They also hold their charge for up to one year and hold their charge when not in use.
- Energizer Recharge Universal serves a wide range of devices, are ready to use and hold a charge for up to one year.
- Energizer Recharge Extreme - the battery type for the demanding techie whose hi-tech devices need maximum power; these batteries last up to six times longer.
When next looking for a new recharge battery think of the 3Cs:
- Capacity: how long does the battery last with each charge?
- Cycle life: how many times can the battery be charged before failure?
- Charge retention: how long does the battery retain its charge when not in use?
Chargers
The range of redesigned chargers are packaged using 40% less plastic, which is great for the environment and comes standard with the new range of rechargeable batteries. Packaging clearly highlights the features of each charger, giving an easy reference to make shopping simpler. Each charger has features best suited to needs:

- Energizer Value Charger - offering a lightweight charger-solution, it offers a great travel solution.
