“Digital brand elevation is fast becoming the norm in the NGO space, but few organisations have the dedicated resources to maximise the opportunities available. The time was right for Sparrow Schools to extend its public relations and marketing efforts, and further enhance its digital and social media footprint. Finding a partner that was aligned with our vision for growing our brand, led us to Duo Marketing,” says Joy Marsh, sales and marketing manager for Sparrow Schools.
The company will be responsible for assisting and supporting key campaigns and marketing efforts across digital and social platforms for Sparrow Schools.
“We knew when we met the team, the teachers and some of the learners at Sparrow Schools that this was something we wanted to be part of,” says Dominique Pienaar, Gauteng regional manager for Duo Marketing.
Sparrow Schools caters for approximately 600 learners annually and currently has 221 learners in the foundation school and 184 in the high school, all with varying degrees of educational backlog, remedial problems and other barriers to learning.
“As a registered non-profit organisation, we rely on our corporate sponsors and the generosity of people who participate in our various fundraising initiatives. Through this partnership, we hope to extend the reach of the work we do and, along the way, educate parents and learners about the potential that is unlocked in every child, given the right learning environment,” concludes Marsh.
