The market is committed to supporting small local food producers and to present an experience that moves away from overly packaged food loaded with hormones and preservatives. Under a Bedouin tent, it will create a market experience that inspires a sense of community at long communal tables in between wine barrels and hay bales.
"With this market, the expo is once again demonstrating a commitment to ethical and creative South African produce, but this time through the very exciting medium of food," says Mike Purdham, manager of the Design Indaba Expo.
