The campaign is part of a Lifestyle sanitary products initiative to promote personal hygiene amongst women in jail. In support of the initiative, the sanitary product's official spokesperson and gynaecologist Doctor Murishe Ledwaba gave an educational talk to the women in the Johannesburg Correctional Service on how to best manage personal hygiene using the products to maintain a sense of dignity and pride despite physical limitations.

Official spokesperson for the prison, Lindiwe Maseko comments on the initiative, "Our decision to align ourselves with the brand's products was based on the benefits the brand has on women in our society and the safety and comfort associated with using them. It is a basic human right for all women, including women behind bars to have access to feminine hygiene information and the necessary sanitary products needed to maintain a clean and healthy body. It is this self-care that is the first step to rehabilitation."

Many women in correctional facilities share toilets and showers, which can expose them to infections if they do not taken adequate care when it comes to their personal hygiene. The company hopes to educate these women on how to take care of themselves, promote hygiene and restore basic human dignity.
