    McDonald's launches Street Rhythm Campaign

    Evolving from its 'Top Jock' campaign, McDonald's has launched 'Street Rhythm' to continue to recognise, build on and harness South African's talent in the genre of music and dance.
    McDonald's launches Street Rhythm Campaign

    In collaboration with Euphonik, DJ Shimza, Major League, DJ PH, DJ Franky, DJ Sphectacular, DJ Naves, DJ Dean Fuel, DJ Kaunda, DJ Lloyd, Ms Cosmo and Donald gives contestants the opportunity to show off their talent in either DJ mixing or through dance performances.

    Contestants should upload videos of their performances to the Street Rhythm website. The best four from each region will then battle it out at the semi-finals in the four different regions, as follows:

    • 2 May 2013, Wits (Johannesburg)
    • 10 May 2013, UKZN (Durban)
    • 16 May 2013, UCT (Cape Town)
    • 17 May 2013, NMMU (Port Elizabeth)

    After the semi-finals, the final will take place at Zone Six, Soweto on 13 June 2013.
