SMS texting: the new wave

Reuben Yonatan, writing from New York, reckons the future of business is in SMS texting. He says that texting and talking are becoming an unlimited package with data being the hot, expensive commodity and VoIP and managed IP PBX service have been big game-changers, as well as smartphones and tablets.

On the social media front, Luke McKend says social networks have become an integral part of any business. So, if your customers are talking about you, why don't you join in and get socialising online

Your company name could make or break it - or at least have a positive or negative impact on its success and growth. So, as Anton Ressel asks:
What's in a name? The short answer is... plenty.

Our newswatch today covers Durban tycoon Vivian Reddy's complaint against the Mail & Guardian newspaper being dismissed, Icasa being in the limelight for the wrong reasons, and the death of SABC television and radio presenter Vuyo Mbuli.

Sara Butchart takes a look at trends in branded broadcast content.

And saving the best for last... did you enter our Portfolio Night competition? Well, here's our winner.

Rod Baker, Content Director
