For those wacky about wine

The fourth annual Wacky Wine Weekend, which received over 10 000 visitors last year, takes place this year, 1 - 3 June 2007, in the Western Cape towns of Ashton, Bonnievale, McGregor and Robertson. A new event will follow 9 - 12 August with the launch of Robertson Slow, a more sedate and leisurely collection of activities at wine farms across the valley. The tempo will be upped again 19 - 21 October, with Robertson Wine on the River, a riverside festival launched in 2006. Go to www.wackywineweekend.com for more info.
