Transnet to sue Sunday Times?

Yesterday afternoon, Monday, 25 August 2008, Transnet responded to the Sunday Times headline article, “Transnet sold our sea to foreigners”, published on Sunday 24 August, with a presentation to the press. Here is the complete press statement and presentation, in which Transnet contends that the article is “irresponsible and defamatory” and that it is “demanding an unconditional retraction of the article from the Sunday Times whilst reserving our right to take further action”. It is also considering legal action.
