A new menu to inspire the senses
“The new Häagen-Dazs menu has something for everyone,” says Cindy Hall, Marketing Manager of the brand South Africa. “The menu is presented as a book which allows the consumer to feel excited by the act of making choices and discovering new and different experiences.”
Creating appeal across seasons is vitally important. This includes mixing dark, dramatic pages in the menu with brighter, fresher more summary spreads epitomising the extensive selections available. These range from Belgium chocolate delights to fresh fruit sorbets and desserts. “Consumers ‘eat with their eyes',” says Hall. “This is why the menu features large double page spreads flooded with rich textures evoking the quality and luxurious nature of the ice cream.”
New menu selections include the Belgian Waffle and the Raspberry Pavlova and those who like a taste of home can try the Caramel Apple Cookie Crumble.
To elevate the overall experience, the menu also offers a luxurious selection of hot drinks that will warm the heart, such as the Tiramisu Espresso, the Caribbean Hot Chocolate and the Belgian Mocha.
