Strategic business refocus for Nebula

Nebula has traditionally focused on assisting businesses to improve the returns from their telecommunications and information technology investments. Started in 1997, the firm has gone from strength to strength. With a growing list of JSE listed clients it has achieved more than R800 million in client sustainable savings, as well as managing R2 billion in annual telecommunications expenditure.

Servicing a variety of markets

Their clients represent the top 200 companies in South Africa, across a variety of different markets, which include retail, petrochemical, banking, insurance, manufacturing, media and medical. "We have successfully advised many of the country's blue chip companies and financial institutions on their technology and telecommunications strategies. We offer end-to-end consulting for our clients, providing them with solutions that we assist them to implement," says CEO, Danie Nel.

Nebula prides itself on being completely independent, which enhances their ability to provide their clients with advice and information they can trust. Nel adds that they also work closely with the various service providers, to assist them in improving their service offering to the market.

Time to revitalise, reinvent and rebrand

Over the last 15 years, the company has built up strong trusted relationships with many of its clients, providing advice and information they can trust and rely on.

"We are a professional services firm that provides a unique service offering that focuses on bringing clients continued business success," Nel adds. "Our unique blend of decision support knowledge management, strategic advice and delivery and sustainability assurance, enables the success of our three-dimensional service offering."

However, the time has come to revitalise, reinvent and rebrand the company, positioning it as the rooftop brand that strategically partners with and creates business success for its clients. Over the past few months, the company has undergone some significant changes that have included relooking its service offerings to ensure new and improved engagement models with clients. "In order to take the company to the next level in terms of our service offering, it became necessary for us to take a fresh approach to what we do," concludes Nel.
