Smart, sardonic, funny and packed full of attitude, MTV Choice puts viewers firmly in the driver's seat, playing the music they want to hear while taking a mischievously sideways look at the hottest vids, news, views, crews, apps, memes, tweets, styles and trends shaping their universe.
During the course of each hour-long show, the hosts will share the screen with a celebrity guest, chat to artists, A-listers and music icons, run through the top 10 hottest music videos chosen by visitors to www.mtv.co.za and generally encourage interaction in any form via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vine. And for those who can't get enough of Burger and Gilberti, well, there's going to be three MTV Choice webisodes available every week.
Known for their brains, beauty and savvy street style, both hosts are veterans of the South African TV landscape, with more than 20 years of TV experience between them. Keep an eye out for the gals and the MTV Choice crew - they will be popping up all over the country at events soon to feature in future episodes of MTV Choice.
Alex Okosi, senior vice-president and MD of Viacom International Media Networks Africa, said: "We are very excited to be launching our first ever localised MTV magazine programme; we believe that it will be an amazing show for our audiences and are delighted to welcome Roxy and Sade onto our talent roster. We are looking forward to working with them to create a sensational weekly TV show that will excite and engage viewers."
