From 1 July to 10 July, participants will be able to virtually experience Franschhoek as locals do – foraging for mushrooms, horse riding amongst the vineyards, a sunrise sabrage, art and sipping superb wines, etc. Exclusive wine, restaurant, accommodation and retail offers will be revealed each day and will only be available for this event.
The countdown culminates on Saturday, 11 July, which would have been the day for the actual festival, with festivities planned to celebrate Franschhoek’s French heritage.
For the detailed programme, go to www.franschhoekbastille.co.za, follow @franschhoeksa on Instagram, Twitter (@Franschhoek_SA) and Facebook (Franschhoek Wine Valley).
