Prestigious EduWeek Awards nominations open
Celebrating 10 years of advancing educational knowledge in Africa, EduWeek with SABC Education powered by Intel takes place on the 29th and 30th June at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg.
The decade celebrations are marked with a brand-new partnership with the Department of Basic Education, who have signed an agreement to endorse EduWeek for the next five years. One of the key highlights of the EduWeek calendar is the EduWeek Awards which take place on the evening of the 29th June. The EduWeek Awards recognise excellence across the African education ecosystem. From the inception of the most innovative and life-changing products and/or services to our local heroes who go above and beyond to assist their communities and the lives of our precious learners. Entries for the EduWeek Awards are now open and EduWeek encourages members of the South African and African education system to enter or nominate a worthy recipient.
These awards bring together 260 of the industry’s most influential professionals and is the leading event and platform to recognise, reward and celebrate the success of Africa’s education sector during 2015/2016. There are many categories within the awards celebrating the vast array of contributors in the education space. From suppliers and distributors that supply education establishments with high-quality, safe products appropriate to everyday teaching and learning needs in all categories, from Basic Education to Higher Education, Early Childhool Development to Special Needs.
