  • IOL: New minister meets SABC board... Given the widely held reputation the national broadcaster "enjoys" among many of us compelled to pay a licence fee for a service we watch as little as possible, if at all, Yunus Carrim seems to have his work cut out for him.

The new service aims to "go live" on Friday, 19 July, and according to the Mail & Guardian report, will be available on the Wiztech free-to-air decoders.

  • Nelson Mandela International Day: 67 ways to change the world... Need an idea to change the world? Here are 67 of them.

Every little bit helps, so get out there and DO SOMETHING.

Now you can't say: "I really WANT to do something, but I just don't know what?

    Here are bags of ideas.
