Big Easy Durban's interior design wins silver at A' Design Awards

Ernie Els' The Big Easy Durban received the silver award for its interior design at the international 2017 A' Design Awards. The restaurant's interior was designed by the international hospitality interior design firm, Virserius Studio.

The design is focused on the combination of modern design and the countryside with elements like wood-beamed ceilings and handcrafted furniture as well as metal lighting and a handcrafted backlit rope ceiling. The international competition acknowledges global products, projects, and services, which demonstrate superior design, technology, and creativity.
