Getting into a fever on Saturday nights
Saturday Night Fever, the Broadway and West End musical, is coming to South Africa in 2008, courtesy of Jacaranda 94.2 and Big Concerts. Says an excited 94.2 CEO, Alan Khan, “Jacaranda 94.2 play lists only the best music from the '80s, '90s and today in our very own Saturday Night Fever slot… Therefore, Saturday Night Fever is so much more than a musical for the station and our listeners. It's an emotional experience involving an era of hip-swaying, slick, funky grooves and don't forget that famous 'Strut' and white suit of John Travolta!" It opens 8 April 2008 at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City, Johannesburg.
