New hub at Wits offers conferencing venue

The R80-million development of the Wits Professional Development Hub, new home to both Wits Enterprise and the Wits Language School, will serve as a hub for people who wish to attend any of its courses. In addition, it is described as an excellent training and conference venue available for hire for conferences and events. The venues are fitted with state-of-the-art audiovisual and communication technology, on-site catering and computer laboratories. The hub, on the corner of Empire Road and Jan Smuts Avenue, Parktown, Johannesburg, officially opened on Thursday, 14 October 2010.
