Who are we looking for:
An experienced, results-driven Regional Sales Manager with the ability to manage a geographically diverse, multi-province territory. Someone who can drive sales growth, optimise travel routes and territory coverage, lead and support field sales teams, and ensure strong customer relationships and reliable service delivery across Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Northwest within the confectionery and sweets industry.

What will you do:

• Three-province coverage design: Build province-specific growth plans for Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North West; prioritise high-potential towns, trade corridors and rural clusters.
• Route economics and reach: Design efficient visit frequency, travel loops, wholesaler service models and replenishment schedules to reduce cost-to-serve without sacrificing availability.
• Wholesale-led expansion: Win and grow cash-and-carry, independent wholesale, spaza and general-trade customers; identify secondary distribution partners only where commercially justified and approved.
• Remote leadership: Coach field teams across distances, use clear scorecards and audit execution through planned market visits and customer verification.
• Demand and credit control: Maintain realistic demand forecasts, reduce stock-outs and slow-moving stock, and manage collections with finance and logistics.

What do you need:

• 7+ years South African FMCG field sales with multi-territory responsibility
• Experience in Limpopo, Mpumalanga or North West trade routes, wholesale networks and remote team management
• Valid driver licence and extensive travel availability.
• Hands-on trade execution; negotiation; commercial numeracy; coaching and accountability; customer relationship building; route-to-market discipline; ethical conduct; proficiency with Excel and sales reporting tools.
• Regular field travel and store visits are essential.
• The role requires practical understanding of South African consumer channels, local competition, customer service standards and applicable company policies.
