Drambuie hosts 1745 Club dinner with Clem Sunter
Drambuie, the world renowned Scotch whisky liqueur hosted an exclusive 1745 Club dinner at Bella in Sandton, Johannesburg.
Hosted by South Africa's top controversial columnist, David Bullard, 1745 Club is an off-the-record debating forum for connected people to discuss topical subjects with those in-the-know. This forum affords each guest the opportunity to listen to insights and reveal the truth behind the big stories hitting news headlines.
South Africa's internationally renowned scenario planner, Clem Sunter attended the dinner as Drambuie's special guest and co-hosted the thought provoking debate with David Bullard.
Guests enjoyed a delicious three course meal prepared by Bella chef proprietors, Vicki Clarke and Nicki Gaskell. Each course was elegantly paired with a popular Drambuie cocktail including the Rusty Nail (one part Drambuie, one part Scotch whisky poured over ice) and the Drambuie Braveheart (one part Drambuie mixed with three parts ginger ale served over ice and a wedge of lime or orange), revealing the whisky liqueur's unique flavour and diverse mixability.
