Drambuie hosts 1745 Club dinner
Drambuie, the world renowned Scotch whisky liqueur hosted an exclusive 1745 Club dinner at Bella in Sandton, Johannesburg in February.
Hosted by South Africa's top controversial columnist, David Bullard, 1745 Club is an off-the-record debating forum for connected people to discuss topical subjects with those in-the-know. This forum affords each guest the opportunity to listen to insights and reveal the truth behind the big stories hitting news headlines.
South Africa's popular radio personality and host of 5FM's morning drive time show, Gareth Cliff attended the dinner as Drambuie's special guest and co-hosted the thought provoking debate with David Bullard.
Guests enjoyed a delicious three course meal prepared by Bella chef proprietors, Vicki Clarke and Nicki Gaskell. Each course was elegantly paired with a popular Drambuie cocktail, revealing the whisky liqueur's unique flavour and diverse mixability.
The exclusive 1745 Club dinners coincide with the introduction of the newly re-designed Drambuie bottle, which launched in South Africa in November 2009.
