Recognition for West African journalists
The Norbert Zongo Journalism of Investigation Prize offers prizes in three categories: newspaper, radio and television.
Applicants must be employed by a news agency or collaborate with news agencies in West Africa. Works must have been published or broadcast between 3 May 2008 and 3 May 2009.
Entries will be judged on: professionalism of the author, research strategies, relevance and originality of the covered subject, interest of topic, evidence of encountered difficulties and editorial style.
The winner of every category will receive a diploma, a trophy and CFA1,000,000 (US$2157).
The deadline is 30 September.
