Launch of new Cell C campaign

Cell C has worked closely with its agency to develop a series of television, print and radio spots that will give life to the launch of its summer campaign, 'Believe'.

It is hoping to inspire its customers to remember that they have the power to accomplish anything they believe in.

Launch of new Cell C campaign

Over the last year, the operator has captured over two million new customers and extended its network by 100 base stations a month. "You believed in us and now we want to show you that we believe in you," says Cell C chief commercial officer, Jose Dos Santos.

Inspirational message

The TVC was shot over eight days and features two former Miss South Africa's, Bokang Montjane, Miss South Africa 2010 and Melinda Bam, Miss South Africa 2011. Both women join celebrity presenter Jeanie D as brand ambassadors.

"All three of these ladies are inspirational. They will also use the brand as a platform to inspire other women to believe in their strength and qualities," says Dos Santos.

At the heart of the campaign lies R2 million worth of prizes that it will be giving to its customers simply for believing. Every week, from now until the end of January 2014, it will be giving one customer R100,000. To qualify for the weekly cash prizes, customers will only need to make a call every day for seven days.

"It's simple, there is no opt-in, or SMS to be a part of this. Customers simply need to be active and make that call everyday," says Dos Santos.

Bonus

For an added bonus, prepaid subscribers can enter the Supacharge competition through selected retailers and franchise stores, where they could win R500 airtime daily.

Additionally customers will be entered into an array of other competitions where they can win VIP experiences, airtime, shopping vouchers, parties and events. For more information, go to www.cellc.co.za/believe.
