BMi Research plants hope for Lambano Sanctuary
BMi Research staff members arrived at the Sanctuary on 1 November with their gardening equipment and plants, ready to transform the grounds into an oasis for the children. They also spent a bit of relaxation time with the Lambano children and staff.
"BMi Research came with one purpose in mind - to see the faces of the children light up when they saw their beautiful gardens for the first time," commented Portia Mlangeni, one of the Lambano Sanctuary fundraisers.
Lambano Sanctuary was established in 2001 by Melanie Prinsloo and Leon van den Berg in response to the HIV crisis and the absence of residential facilities for HIV positive orphans and vulnerable children. Through their vast experience with HIV, the organisation has now become a specialist facility.
