    Netcare re-launches magazine

The Netcare quarterly magazine has been relaunched as Netcare health this month, reinventing the title to better support patients, demystify health information and promote positive wellbeing.

To enhance the patient experience, the magazine is now available on matt paper to make it easier to read under hospital lighting.

The South Africa branch of global content marketing agency, Cedar, was appointed to provide editorial and to design the magazine. In the future, digital and social media platforms will also be developed to support the title.

Available across its hospital network, the title features wellbeing information, advice on family health and the latest group innovations. Clever cover concepts illustrate common health issues in an upbeat style, while the pages are packed with inspiring stories, simple infographics and vibrant, positive images. The magazine also includes a fun 4-page children's pull-out section ready to be played with and coloured in.

The title is being distributed across the entire Netcare hospital network in South Africa as well as in MediCross and PrimeCure clinics and Netcare 911 Emergency Services.

Helena Gavera, Cedar South Africa's GM, said, "The magazine reaches people at a challenging time in their lives, so every aspect of this magazine has been designed to support and inspire. The group's patients understand quality and that's what we have strived to deliver."

Gerard Augustine, marketing and sales director at Netcare, added, "The magazine is a crucial part of our relationship with our patients. We want it to enhance both their wellbeing and their experience of the group's services. We're delighted with the magazine and can't wait to see how people respond."
