Men evolving in May
Comments editor Andy Ellis: "Over the past eight years Men's Health has cemented a reputation for the delivery of consistent, quality editorial. Men know what to expect from us and have come to rely on a monthly fix of novel, specific, actionable and personally beneficial advice. Consistency is good, but complacency is not. Magazines need to evolve with their readers and Men's Health is no exception."
The biggest change to be seen is in Malegrams, the upfront section of the magazine. It has been increased from 14 to a maximum of 26 pages in the bigger issues, covering the five core Men's Health pillars: health, fitness, sex, stress and nutrition. Gear, tech, travel and grooming advice has also been added to the mix. The section is more structured and compartmentalised for readers to jump directly to their favourite section.
Added to this is a features well - an area in which stories are permitted to flow with very little interruption.
Ellis continues, "Most important to us is that the changes will not stagnate. This is the start of a process we going to continue revising, refining and striving to perfect every detail of every issue until our readers say stop."
