Is there a link between cancer and cellphones?
If there is one device that has spread around the world - from the First World to the Third World, from skyscraper to humble village - it's the cellphone, but along with its manifold benefits in aiding communication between peoples from all walks of life, it has also generated controversy... over what many claim is its dangers when it comes to various forms of cancer.
A recently released UN study that covered 13 countries and 13 000 participants suggests that frequent use of cellphones could expose the user to a greater chance of developing glioma, a rare but dangerous cancerous brain tumour.
